Your fitting begins. Welcome to Motion Analysis Technology (MATT).  MATT is the state-of-the-art fitting technology that captures a "real time" image of you and your golf swing.

Thirty four reflective markers are placed on you and the fitting golf clubs.  Your vital swing information and statistics are captured by 6 high-speed cameras, and distilled to create a sophisticated three-dimensional, computer-animated image of your swing.  These images are viewed from every angle after which MATT will provide a data-based personal golf club recommendation.  The database contains more than 500,000 different golf swings with which to compare your swing.

 

The MATT program is the beginning process in your ChampionshipFitting experience.  Your professional fitter will film and record you with four separate clubs: Driver, Iron, Wedge, and Putter.  You will not only be hitting the shots, you'll be viewing the swing and details on the large flat-screen monitor directly in front of you.

Fine Tuning your fit with Flightscope Technology.  The MATT system gives your professional fitter vital information in order to make important decisions as to the equipment best suited to your game.  Flightscope Technology allows your fitter to move to the next level - fine tuning your Orange County golf club fitting experience.

Using the SelectFit system of interchangeable heads and shafts, your professional fitter will match the recommended clubs for you.  Then using Flightscope, a 3-D Doppler Tracking golf radar tool, you and your fitter will test a wide variety of head/shaft options in order to determine the combination that best suits your swing. 

 

The entire process is completely interactive.  Your professional fitter is not there to simply hand you clubs for you to use.  You will be informed and educated each step of the way as to the importance of all aspects of the technology involved.  You will see for yourself how aspects such as spin rate, launch angle, and swing speed affect distance.  You will clearly understand the importance of lie angle when selecting the correct irons.  You will come away from your experience not only with equipment designed specifically for your game, you will also have a new understanding of how your equipment is working for you.

ChampionshipFitting features a unique ROSSA lab designed to find the perfect putter for you.  This includes our high speed putting cameras that capture your stroke with 360 degree analysis.  You will see (and learn) the importance that launch angle and spin have on the outcome of your putts.
